You DO have a choice.
I’m not suggesting one way or another by Jove, but do know that you can change even if things around you won’t change. A serious pros and cons list is worthwhile, taking into account every single variable you can think of.
You could even be very brave and share this with the other party. Ask them to make a list, too. Then face the matters honestly and openly together.
If it blows things apart, it blows them apart.
If it helps to turn the page to a fresh start together, it does that.

It's been kinda kooky. Since the venue moved to the University Art School (my alma mata), there has been limited capacity (20).
I was 10 minutes early a few weeks back and I was barred. :(
The last two times I've gone, I've been 45 minutes early... and still not the FIRST, but have gotten in.

Wow! That’s a REALLY popular offering! Is it open to the public or only alums? Do you think everyone is there for artistic reasons?

Open to public, though not really "advertised".
Yep, everyone seems to be there for artistic reasons. Not all are very "skilled". Most are "old" (50 to 70?). There were maybe 4 college age students one time. Typically, just one.
