My first real job was in a library. I had to pull books for patron requests. I'm short, so I always had to climb up and down a ladder to fetch books from the high shelves. The only time I wore a skirt or dress was if I was going out after work--then I'd have to be really careful and make sure no one was around.

The beret made me laugh. It reminded me of the "Beat Night/Poetry Slam" the youth group did at my church. They handed out black berets and candy cigarettes so we could all be "cool." People read original poetry or recited favorite poems. It was a very fun night.

And wow, I thought I was the only person who watched "Allo Allo." The phony accents always cracked me up. In fact, when I was in the UK with a bunch of American antique dealers on a buying trip, we took a cab from the airport to our hotel. The women were all in their 50's or older. I went with my mom. The cabbie had a full-on cockney accent and asks, "Where to, ducks?" All the women look at me. I turn to them and in as strong a Philadelphia accent as I can manage say, "He said, "where to, ducks.'" They tell me where we're going, then I tell him trying to use a posh British accent. He is by now trying not to laugh. He and I continue back and forth with me "translating" for the ladies, explaining why we came and where we plan to go.

Then he says, "I speak German, you know." "Really?" says I. Then he starts talking in a godawful fake German accent about the sights we're driving by and I continue to "translate." My mom looks at me and says, "I didn't know you speak German." By now, the cabbie and I are losing it. Then I say that I speak French and start using a Pepe Le Pew accent, so does he. Meanwhile, all the ladies are totally straighfaced and believed this is all very serious. I don't know if they were all hearing impaired or just incredibly gullible. A few of them may just have been drunk. LOL.

They ran Allo Allo on PBS a while back, that's where I saw it. I'd laugh so hard my sides would ache.

(And this is weird. Every time I try and post, I get an error message and have to refresh. Sometimes my post is there and I just need to click Post Reply, but sometimes the post disappears. So now I always copy my post before I refresh so I don't lose it. When I post something in the RP forums, I always write my post in Wordpad, so no fear of losing those.)

Though a "bullet proof" padded bra is a bit disappointing, visually.
I don't have to wear one, but I sure love sheer ones (which are somewhat rare these days)
or demi cups (which are even more rare, and practically speaking, probably should be)

Sometimes a woman needs a super bra, depending on what you are wearing. There are plenty of lacy little nothing bras out there, but if your girls are big and/or heavy, you need a lot of support. Check out the website for Agent Provocateur for high-end sexy lingerie. Lots of sheer lacy options.

I used to do medieval reenactment and weapons had minimum padding requirements. One of my friends decided that my padded bra made my breasts lethal weapons.

Yes, I agree that some of the lingerie is just silly with all the "extras." And definitely not comfortable enough to wear all day.

Since, I have not gotten to a new work...here's a couple old ones.

To illustrate a Litster's story. Kinda amusing as, I believe the story was called The Giant Faunus...and so.. I interpreted a LARGE size discrepancy between he and the woman. The author took issue with that, so I made another with a "large" faunus.

I have had that happen before, where my vision was different than the author's.
Therefore, I always tell the potential "client" to explicitly describe characters and/or scenes —*TELL, don't show (I'll show what you tell). Which is opposite of what many writing classes teach. This would be in private, aside from the prose.

Unless one is willing to accept another interpretation.

This is an interesting "contest"... It seems that the "readers" who are making the "choice" (voting) are limited to those on the bulletin boards, and further filtered to those who might stumble into the "Awards & Contests" forum, and through a finer filter of making the effort to open the various threads on the various categories — THEN actually going to the link of each nominee (hopefully, such that votes are not just made blindly, by title or author...or).

I'm not sure how something like this could be made more fair and equitable.

Well, there are two big problems your artwork faces.
First, get more than 10 and of course the highest rating within a month's time it was published, which, as you know, has been working only since last year with the beta functions of the new site layout activated.
Second, when ratings for the whole year are tallied up, your work has to be in the top 5 of the dozen, or so, monthly candidates. Whatever happens to the rating along the RCA is going on, has no impact at its outcome. It's purely the most votes in the RCA polls you find in the Awards & Contests subforum.

There are no email notifications about the monthly winners or the RCA starting. But the Literotica account publishes 'stories' telling about both - most of the time.

So, yes, it's tricky.
