Actually, the "well worn" socks/stockings market is supposed to be somewhat lucrative... I have several pairs of M40s (really freaking deliciously long over the knee cotton socks) that I've literally worn until the heels have holes and the bottoms are all gray... I wonder how many worn out socks I'd have to sell to support my stocking (shoe... book... vintage lingerie...) fetish?

i've been wearing them pretty much exclusively for 9 yrs - my last pair of clogs was still going strong at 6 yrs old, but not looking quite as pretty as i'd like so i went out and got a new pair. i wear keens to work though - they're super comfy, too.

I hate boring clothes. I wear them a lot cause boring clothes are cheap, but I love to wear bright cheerful colors.
