Yeah, you may need to alter it somewhat. But a close friend who enjoys playing with rope has a similar style with the "box on legs" thing going on. She runs the ropes around the bed legs and up to the ankles and wrists of her victim, er maso-sub. Depending on what you're doing, you can run ropes around the uprights that hold the headboard up. I'd go for the legs if you're doing anything really strenuous, though. Since it is solid wood and you're not going to be suspending someone from it, what's wrong with a few eye bolts beneath and behind the frame on the bottom? Then run the ropes up to the topside to bind someone. But you know, almost any bed you get with "serious" bondage in mind, like violent screaming orgasms and all those sorts of mad thrashing about is going to need some minor modification.

My misstake. I read your post a bit too fast. IKEA have a simular one and I have been looking at too many beds lately so I thought it was this one in your pic.

Ok, here's the deal. I have been looking for a new bed but I can't find a good looking one that is functional as well. So I need pictures, links and ideas.

The problem is I want one with a modern design but with strategic places to attach rope to. And I have been looking for weeks without finding something I really like. So if you have any good links to places with lots off beds please let me know.

It was a good suggestion but I'm afraid it won't work in my apartment. My bedroom/office kind of works as a hallway to my living room. So I can't really have eye bolts showing.
I know my apartment have a strange layout, but except for these small things I like it

This one is pretty similar to mine, except mine has some ugly paint on it from the previous owner. Gotta get that crap off, one of these days. And, mine has fatter and more stirdy spindles. The top balls are about the size of large baseballs. And the spindles at the foot of the bed are shorter. I must say, those spindles come in quite handy when tying someone spread eagle to the bed (...face up, or face down).

It was maide in 1940. Oh, and it comes apart for moving. That helps a lot when you don't have an elevator.

Hmmmm, you should try moving here...is a rarity if anything will fit up the stairs...lol, I wondered when I first came here why the buildings/houses in Amsterdam had these big hooks hanging off the front of them...only way to get the stuff in is through the windows!! Nice bed though.

Solid wood.. Four poster.. Perhaps one of the old style solid canopies.
Designed from the floor up for BDSM play.(so I don't have to worry about "adding" hardware)
Only way to REALLY get what you want.
Besides I find the thought of building one for Pearl and I, that is OURS, unique and totally ours..VERY emotionally satisfying.
