Tho temporary, it can inflate an ego and make the person feel better about themselves where they might not have. Sometimes that little bit of lust is enough to help the world look better again.....not that I understand any of this :(

That is also true. But those fleeting moments only leave a bigger void. I'm not tooting my own horn, but I've been lusted after most of my life.and it sucks !!! To be wanted for what they think you are and how they perceive you,based on physical appearance alone.Not caring about knowing anything about you.Instead of for who you really are as a fellow human being.
I don't see anything great about it. It leaves a person feeling like their under a microscope, alone and uncomfortable.

I intensely dislike being the center of attention and often stay outside the circle to avoid it.and I'm not the best looking person in the world. I'd rather observe things from the edge than be in the center. I know it's different for men.And some may not see my point.or even agree.and that's fine.the only way I'm comfortable with attention is if it's mutual.
