One more thing which I find utterly confusing. What happens (in the US for example) when a 15/16 year old boy has sex with an 'underage' girl a year or two older?

She could be charged as an adult, so she can be changed with an adult crime. The boy just got laid well. All of this is subjective, because unless the family of the boy find the girl not worthy of their son, then he has an older girlfriend.

The law only works if the girl is the victim, or the girl is his teach
