It was perfect, and insane.
Risky, but rewarding.
Regardless there was no turning back now, and just the thought of it set my teeth on edge. I’d seen her around campus from time to time thinking she needed to get out more be braver, be mine. Sadly we never seemed to be in the same place at the same time, no time to ‘chat’.
Well now we’d have a chance to ‘make-up’ for lost time. I’d done my work well, drained her accounts had it made out to cash; she’d be earning it back soon enough. Her photo ID’s credit cards SIN card, ’everything’ to prove who she was, I had stolen by a well paid pickpocket and replaced with fakes. It’d be a week before anyone started to believe she wasn’t the identity thief that was running around using her name and her credit cards.
Last I checked it was a hooker by name of Kyra…not the classiest woman in the world. Katie was far above her ‘thankfully’ but she was useful in this little game, she had contacts I could make use of.
All that was left was the package I left at Katie’s door, a neat little white box, inside a record of what I’d done and cute little note simply reading:
“IF you want your life back, call the last number dialled on this cell.”
It was a quality phone; I got it just for her…and to keep track of her. Those new android phones were so very useful, came with an armband and wireless headset; couldn’t let her lose them when she started running around town could I.
Today was going to be fun, and the first day of many, and all I had to do now as wait for a phone call.
