If I ever get dammed

I meant him but ok

and the kayaking is a daily occurence around here..no biggy

Lol, as you can see not the sharpest tool in the box before a coffee, you calling me on it is okay, anybody else, "Well I oughta..." 🥊

As to kayaks? They look like tippy little suckers. I'll stick with canoes and sailboats. :)

I see no "beaver dams" (spelling corrected) in the OP.

Maybe the beavers were having potage that day.

Re: dams, my point exactly. As to the potage? They are eager little critters and all that exuberant work, I presume, builds up an appetite.
Interesting beaver fact of the day:

Castoreum comes from the castor sacs of the beaver, which occur in both males and females between the pelvis and the base of the tail. The beavers themselves, notoriously territorial and aggressive with intruders, use it to scent-mark

Actually there is a thriving market for Castoreum as we speak. It's used in some high end perfumes.

Canoes is Kayaks made into convertibles by chopping the roof off. Hard to keep the water out after you do that though.

And, if I ever do manage to get dammed, you can sail into the sunset to your hearts content.
