Of course it can.... However, that ranks right up there with Bigfoot being President, in that it is unlikely.

With the NBA Finals involving a local team, I see people discussing "potential", as I have for years. However, people seem to forget that (as far as I ever learned it) that word means the ability to do something. Just like the defect to which you refer, desire to improve/educate oneself is fine, but many who clearly (to others) appear to have such mental defects have it in a form that includes not knowing/admitting this defect &/or the opportunity/ability to fix it exists.

I for one am looking at the (small) possibility of Bernie Sanders winning, largely due to his discussion of making some colleges tuition-free. Should that happen, I will jump on it, but many will not, as they will not even admit to themselves or others they could benefit from it.
