Illusion Vale (OOC)

Booyah! I finally posted!

I now will go back to rest for another two months....

LOL, only kidding :p !!

Geez, when in the world is that spell going to kick in? And how did Ilandria manage to get out of that hold? Her arm should have been locked in place, making it next to impossible to escape.

Loosing your muscles a fraction of a second before moving can usually get yourself out of any grip. Ilandria and Eeth have much the same strength. Her because she is hundreds of years old and he because he is a Guardian.

And in terms of the spell, the Game Time has only been a few minutes. Barely more than five. I doubt the spell I'm doing will need less then fifteen to ten minutes to complete.

Less than five minutes? Even with Eeth's stalling earlier?

Relaxing the muscles for a split second can help break any grip? Even one where if Eeth had applied a little bit more pressure to Ilandria's arm, he could have snapped her elbow?

You would be surprised how slippery people can be. Besides, elves are built pretty slenderly. I'm not built that slenderly myself, but I've gotten through some pretty tight grips in my life.

I didn't say any grip, I just said most, by the way.

The fighting time has been less then five minutes. The stalling earlier probably a little over five minutes.

If you're really that anxious to move along, I'll do it in the next post then. But you may have to wait a while for it and I'll have to borrow your character once again. But then, I'll be rping for you again. I'm not sure if you'd like that.

I'm not so much anxious as I am willing to move on. Sometime ago you had expressed a desire to move Eeth off of the current story arch and on to hunting for artifacts, so I'm just wondering how much longer that'll be.

Anyways, if this fight, including the stalling, has gone on for about 10 minutes, with so few posts for the fight itself, then I'm willing to see this through to the end.

Okay, let's get a picture of this brawl that has developed.

Eeth had taken the queen to the ground, face down. She managed to escape the lock, now has Eeth's left hand gripped in her left hand. She pushed Eeth back, which in his position would have put him on his back, which would mean that the queen would come with him if she were to maintain her grip on his wrist.

Any of this not what you had in mind?

Wolfsister, if you please. ^^^

They're still standing. She didn't push him far enough that he would topple over. So, they're standing, she's holding onto his left wrist and her right elbow is swinging around to smash in his face.

The type of hold that Eeth had put the queen in required Eeth to go to one knee, so that he could hold her arm, have it locked, and also to have his hand on her back.

So, we could say that when the queen pushed upwards, she forced Eeth to stand, which would in turn pull her into a standing position as well, if she held her grip.

Jedi, that was my intention. If that didn't come across in my post, I'm sorry for not being more detailed.

She did indeed hold her grip, now she's pulling on Eeth's hand while swinging her elbow back, trying to pull him into the blow to have greater damage.

Ah, okay. Thank you for your time Wolfsister. I'll get back to work on the post.

I'm good. Actually doing pretty well. I'm cleaning out my inbox at the moment... and still in the writing mood. For once in a long time, I'm not sick. Though I do have hayfever problems right now. I've never sneezed so much in my life! :p But other than that, nothing to report.

You?

I'm in a bit of a lull in the storm at the moment. Final exams are next week, and one of them is a take home that I got today, so I'm going to be pulling my hair out trying to do the test in time.

Anyways, other than that I'm fine.

Have you seen the thread titled Malachor V? If so, what do you think?

I have and I've read it. Its interesting - the dynamic between the two people is good. But I don't think the thread would survive if another person joined.

No, I don't think it would either.

Valina simply wanted to pass the time and I volunteered to help her do so, and me being a Star Wars fan, it was proposed that we do a lightsaber duel on during the Battle of Malachor V. And you can see what has happened since.

That was a quick reply. You must've had most of that already written, only adding in the bits that were relevant to my post, yes?

The next post you'll probably have to write from scratch, unless you happen to know what Eeth going to do already. Care to guess? ;)
