"Draining" is the perfect term to describe the fandom.

I'm wondering if that's what this season is leading to, meta-wise. The Mane 6 seem to be inspiring others to do more to improve life and create friendship. Perhaps Dashie will join the 'Bolts soon, and the others take leadership positions in their areas of expertise.

Yes! I've often thought that should be the natural endgame of the show: there are jokes about everypony becoming princesses, but really it makes perfect sense for them to eventually spread their wings (literally/figuratively) and inspire friendship in their own unique ways.

The negative reaction to Twilight becoming an Alicorn Princess really irked me. What, do Y'all *want* to go back to "Superfriends" where colorful characters with cardboard personas engaged in endless, interchangeable antics until the viewers' brains oozed out of their ears like so much baby food? We have in FiM a cartoon where characters learn, change, and grow and you're *still* complaining?

That's when I stopped caring what "Fandom" thought about things.
