I'm Getting Wrinkles

Some things you just have to come to terms with. I've known since I was a teen that I'd be 'bald' one day. My hair thinned and now I trim it to 1/4 inch. I notice skin stuff too. It is what it is. It doesn't define you.

I think I figured out the answer: just wear my (fantastic) hair over my forehead and nobody will ever even see the wrinkles.

Honey, we've -all- got wrinkles. Some of us have stretch marks and saggy bits, too. Sometimes they're hard to ignore, but they're something we can all live with.

Besides, injecting botulism into yourself really isn't one of the smartest things a person can do.

re: vision

I highly endorse LASIK... I wish I had done it sooner. Aging effects in the last 12 years means I may need to do it again. I will, happily.

As soon as I get money, I'm getting it done. Even before Botox:D

it is soooooo amazing to have those wonderful sex memories NOT be blurry... *grin*

...and also to see the clock in the middle of the night without rolling over, picking it up and squinting...

and not accidentally turning off the hot water in someone else's shower because you can't see the knobs and getting a blast of cold... I can't wait.

Crow's feet are sexy. Wattles, typically, are not. Gravity sucketh muchly.

 for your laugh lines and wattles

I'll be 34 in a few weeks and I've noticed that I'm getting lines on my forehead, both between my eyebrows and the ones from lifting my eyebrows a lot. I catch myself frowning unconsciously and squinting a lot, but I think it's too late to reverse it now.

I still think of myself as 28, but when I look in the mirror, I can't see myself as "the kid" anymore. It's depressing.

Do I have to grow up now? Is botox very expensive?

My advice to you is to commisssion a portrait of yourself, and let the portrait get the wrinkles instead.

Have you thought about changing jobs? If you're constantly scrunching your forehead and squinting, it could be stress that's causing the wrinkles.

Dude, we need to have a Botox birthday party...:D

I'm getting wrinkles in my forehead too. It's from that constant expression of disdain.

-grumbles about botulism and stuff-

-but SO really can't say anything, having been considering implants-
-is such a goober- LOL
