I'm looking to fuck a Democrat

indeed....i agree with having control over ones body...it can be used in so many ways ;)

Sometimes I prefer to cede control of said body to a fellow perv, but of course only for those willing to raise taxes for the top 1%.

Oh my god. How can I do this? How can I make this happen? OMG.

Ok, really, I'd like to fuck a Historical Materialist, a Social-Democrat or even a Libertarian. I'll have to pass on any Anarchists or Nihilists, and of course, Republicans need not apply.

How about a cynical realist???? SWAT

Yes, I do play. (See profile picture.) Actually, my favorite is probably in my AV right now--Mike Watt of the Minutemen/Firehose/Iggy and the Stooges. If you're referring to Charles Mingus, well, it's hard not to appreciate an innovative legend such as he.

I'm not familiar with Mike Watt, though I saw Firehose live a couple times. And yes, I was referring to Charles Mingus. I've been having a love affair with his music for the last eight years or so. I just got a couple live CDs in the mail burned by a friend of mine of a live performance by the Charles Mingus sexted with Eric Dolphy. I've been listening to it almost nonstop since Thursday. Mingus just blows my mind.

I've thought about drummers as spankers, I mean it's a logical association, but bass players? Hmmm, they also keep the beat, I guess, so maybe. Are you good at math?

Yep, that was him--he and the drummer formed two thirds of the Minutemen (the Minutemen's guitarist died in a car crash). I need to step it up on the jazz front, my collection is woeful in that area. As soon as I get a new iPod with more room (which will be soon), I'll check that out.

Yes, we keep the beat, and some of us play slap bass, to varying degrees. I definitely hit the strings harder than most.

I'm awesome at any math that doesn't involve formulas. Seriously, I killed at it until algebra.

Ahhhh a MOVING target. Umm I Do have heat seeking capabilities and that pert ass looks might hot----SWAT SWAT SWAT:D:rose:

Dude-- draw a straight line that is algebra. Draw an X where the X meets is where one solves two equations simultaneously. Algebra is snap once you see it is all about lines.:D

Slap bass? Mmmmm. Hot.

I asked about the math because most really good drummers I know are very good at math. There seems to be some correlation, or at least it's a pet theory of mine, but I don't know enough about bass players.

So why the bass? For some reason I'm more drawn to bass than lead guitar, but I always wonder what attracts a musician to a certain instrument. I don't play anything, so I'm def. fascinated by people with musical talent.

Hey, you :rose:

I guess I'm going to have to check this Watt guy out, after two such enthusiastic nods, but Mingus is still my bass God. Plus he composed so much of his music.

*smile. :rose:

well, mingus travels with pretty rarified company; his influence and impact is different.

i was such a big fan of the minutemen, though. and mike watt influence a whole generation of postpunks.

Well, you recommended a certain poet who wields her words like a samurai and I'm really enjoying her stuff, so I'm def. going to check Watt out.

Oh yeah, it can be hot. Now, I'm no Larry Graham when it comes to slap, but I'm OK.

Why the bass? I liked the sound from the start, and I liked the idea that it could be a supportive instrument, yet still draw the listener in. My first musical love was the Beatles, and Paul was doing some simple, yet interesting things down there in the mix. Then my best friend got a guitar, and that was that...

I'm not sure if math figures into being a bass player. I suppose I do count up the verses and try to throw something a little different into each one.

Point taken, but once you throw more than one or two variables in there, I get discombobulated.:D

The Dems are having their National Convention in Denver, and Obama is making his acceptance speech at the stadium I built with my own hands.

If there is a God in Heaven, naughty will give me the cookie for these reasons.
