I had a cool idea for a game. It goes something like this: you or one of your anonymous supporters ask me a question, then I'll answer it, then you can ask it again, then I'll answer it again, then you ask it again, and we'll go on and on until all of the other users of the board are so annoyed that they leave and go to Yahoo Christian Teens chat.

Now, I have a question for you: why didn't you answer me about the Hamed fight? What are you trying to hide?

First and foremost, hello everyone. A few here might remember me; most may not.

I've been away from the BB for a couple of months and tonight, having the opportunity, I was happy to log in and play catch-up.

What a shock! My first reaction was to wonder if I was on the right board. Then I realized it was just the same petty crap, just with more vitriol and less intelligence.

From what I've read so far, most has to do with this "Fake Name" character(s). Laurel, I personally do not think deleting posts is the answer.

We have a saying here in the South that every ass loves to hear himself bray. Let 'em bray. Ignore it.

I do understand your point re personal attacks but I learned very quickly NOT to take things said on this board too personally and to grow a thick skin. (Hey, Deborah, the other WITCH is back! Got your moly?)

Of course I advocate coming to someone's defense if needed but not shielding entirely.
Anyway, I hope no one begrudges my johnny-come-lately opinion. I've missed this place and the people therein.

Oh, and having been through chemotherapy recently, I was wondering if anyone has a "bald girl" fetish? No? Damn.

Hey, Laurel, have ya seen my boy Spadofora fight yet? He just defended his crown 2 weeks ago, got knocked down in the 3rd, and still came back to win a unanimous decision. Word is his next fight is gonna be on HBO.

Now, about this other shit. I dunno what's got your panties in a bunch, Raven, but to compare your little tiff with Deborah with the other crap that's been going on here is fucking apples and oranges. We've been discussing a situation where someone's whole purpose for posting on this board is to say, "you suck and I hope you die" type things. That type of thing can be disruptive. The situation between you and Deborah, while seemingly traumatic to you, is at best entertaining to the rest of us, and, at worst, mildly annoying. You can correct your situation by either, a) ignoring Deborah, or b), just not posting any more.

The only other advise I can give you at this point is to lighten up...You do realize that this is nothing more than an internet bulletin board? If you don't, well.....

Hey, Circe, do you remember the first Star Trek movie? Do you remember the 'bald chick' that was the navigator or whatever? Everyone thought she was hot....LOL...You never know what's gonna turn people on.

Bu you should definitely check out the Hamed fight - he's a nutbar, and he always makes it interesting even when the actual fight itself sucks. I think it's this weekend, on Saturday, but y'all can check the HBO webpage for exact dates and times.

slut_boy - I'd have known you'd be a Bungu supporter, you nationalist, LMAO! It's not unjustified though... I saw Bungu fight (I forget who) and he kicked whoever it was's ass. It'll be an interesting fight, much more interesting than the Prince's last few bouts. Bungu is actually a worthy opponent.. But when it comes down to it, I'm gonna have to agree with Deborah - Hamed, by knockout, in the later rounds.

I've seen your little quarrel with Deborah develop over the months and it really has nothing to do with what we've been discussing on this thread (or, at least, what we were discussing). I've never really seen anyone take sides one way or another in this particular tiff. And the only times I see anyone comment on it at all are when you attempt to drag Laurel in to the middle of it. My God, give it a rest already. If it's really that important for you to be a martyr, then so be it...you're a martyr.

Cartoons, eh? The old Popeye's were good, but I'm big on theme songs, and the Japanimations were the best. Loved the themes to "Speed Racer", "Marine Boy", the classic "Gigantor", and the mystical "Kimba the White Lion" (the orignial theme, not the dull thing out on the re-released tapes). The Americans had some good ones. Loved the themes to "Hercules" ("Hero of song and story...!"), "Spider-man" and "Underdog". There's a web site I know that has all these themes. I suppose I could get the address if anyone wants it.

Thanks for playing Devil's Advocate. Now I'm going to play Annoyed Webmaster and answer the question again. Fake Name's sole purpose on the board is disrupt other people's conversations. Raven and Deborah are both opinionated contributors to the board who occasionally, if not regularly, get into conflicts with other users. Anyone who's sole purpose in life is to hurt other people is worthless in my opinion. Raven is under the mistaken impression that I have taken Deborah's side on some issue of which I'm not even aware simply because I didn't stop the two of them from arguing. If you go back and read the posts, and I certainly don't encourage you to do so, I'll think you'll see that neither of them is innocent. This is an adult board, and I expect a certain amount of shenanigans. If a user posts that he likes his dog to fuck him in the ass, I'd expect another user to tell him he's a pervert. There are minor conflicts on threads all across this board every day. I'm certainly not taking the position that we all have to hug and be friends. On the other hand, I don't want some bully chasing all the other kids out of the playground. I'm sure that using the term "bully" gives Fake Name a lot more credit than he's due, but you get the idea. If you still don't see the difference, then I don't think there's anything more I can say. I'm getting so annoyed with this topic that I'm gonna start deleting my own posts if I don't be careful.

Okay, please don't jump my ass until you read all of this. I believe there is a "clique" but this "clique" is not a "clique" it is just people who have been on here longer than the rest of us. They have bonded and become friends. As in every friendship, you take it upon yourself to stand behind your friend if he/she is attacked. We, well most of us, are human and we will protect and stand with whom we have bonded with. This "clique" will accept new people and is really friendly with most unless you step on toes, then sometimes you are not accepted. Ask Bruiser when he first came on he was "hated" but everyone grew to love him and even missed him. No I am not in the main group, and do I want to be? well of course eventually but I haven't contributed to the cause. I have made few laugh but if you ask most of them who I am they would say "Who?" But I am fine with that. I like coming to this board to read everything, the funnies and the quarrels. Can we all get along? No not as long as this is a public board, but we can tolerate each other and ignore those who we chose to ignore. I love this place and everyone on it. Just be who you are and stop trying to cause riptides to the extreme. Sometimes it feels like I am back in High school when I see the petty bickering going on. That is my say.
