As for myself I am doing much better. The surgury went well as you have probably heard and more importantly the recovery has also gone well (if a tad slowly by my wishes). I'm finally beginning to feel back to "healthy"!! (though I will admit to having some lingering ... "echoes") There something about operating on your spine that just makes you realize that each day is a gift. Yes it puts you in touch with mortality ... but it also puts you in touch with joy at things that before you took for granted.
All in all ... I'm really doing much better!
My best to you and Oman. Sooner or later somebody (other than you ... an employer) is going to realize that he is far better than sliced bread. From my point of view it is rapidly becoming one of the 7 Great Mysteries of the Modern World.
