It's a long story! We first "chatted" on LIT, then when we realized we were getting along, moved to IMs and posting on the LIT boards. It did take a while before we actually spoke.

I was in NYC; he was in Missouri. Fortunately, we hooked up with sound (he sent me earphones!), so it preserved our phone bills. Six months after we first connected, we realized we should try and meet before too much time went by.

Oman flew to meet me for Valentine's week (2002), and the second I saw his face, I knew I needed to be with him. :heart:

Since the feeling was mutual, we worked on where we should locate. I realized I wanted to get away from the madness of NYC, and a situation opened for Oman to return "home" to Omaha. I have family out in AZ, but didn't want to burn up out there, so we settled on the big O! (near his wonderful family) and, honestly, it's the first time in my long life that I feel I'm really home. :heart:

I don't think there's a definite formula for online relationships; it's different for everyone.

But I do believe it's important to actually meet up with each other before too much time slips by. :rose:

Wow! It certainly is a small world! :)

I wish you two the happiness and love that Oman and I found together. (NY and the Midwestseems to be a good connection). ;)
