a thousand times before, but I have no patience to search for the original post...so, my question is..

how do I post a pic directly in a post vs a link?

Thanks...

and yes...for all you smart ass folks out there, lay it on me...

when you write a reply, there's a little image just above where you write that looks like a mountain with a yellow background, if you click that, then copy in the website address of the image you want to add in, then it'll put the pic up instead of a link

either you need to sign up on somewhere like imageshack or photobucket and upload your picture on their site and then link it in here like i said

or

when you're replying you need to click "manage attachments below" and upload your pic as a link, and then i guess you could open the link once you've submitted your reply and do the link like i said above with your image if you want to, but the link would be there for people to see your pic

Aggghhhh....I tried it and it didn't work so I gave up and just copied the link....but thank you for all your help!

It's going to kill me trying to figure this out...when I have more patience and time, I will conquer it....

Thanks again!

There are detailed instructions on this and just about everything else logistics-related in the FAQs Before Posting sticky at the top of the main How To page, so there's not much to figure out. :)

If it's an "adult" pic, don't use Imageshack of Photobucket - they'll delete your account for anything of that nature. Instead, google 'free adult image hosting' and choose one of the services that allows it. Upload your pic to that site, then go to it and copy the URL. In Firefox at least, you can also right-click on the image and select 'Copy Image Location' - you should be able to do similar in other browsers by selecting Properties and copying the URL from the little window that pops up. Then, follow Stace's or the FAQ sticky's instructions from there.

It should take you about 10 minutes to host and post your image, and much less after you've done it once.

I figured there were instructions, but I'm a woman with little patience to go hunting them down...which is why I just posted the links to the pics because after 5 minutes of trying to just post the pic on the thread, I gave up...lol

But thank you anyway... :)
