I'm Your Venus

[bluntforcemama]

Well... or your Circe, the sea witch.

[Juspar Emvan]

I'm your fire

Or your electric heater, or whatever.

[bluntforcemama]

A Goddess on the mountain top....

or a really big hill.

[Dillinger]

Ah.. love that song... though do you know that the original version was done by The Shocking Blue (1969) and was covered by Frijid Pink and Bananarama (and probably others...)

Written by Robbie van Leeuwen though there are a number of web sites out there that attribute it to Victoria Beckham... (people just do not have a sense of history!!!)

"Venus"

Goddess on the mountain top
Burning like a silver flame
The summit of beauty and love
And Venus was her name

She's got it
Yeah, baby, she's got it
I'm your Venus, I'm your fire
At your desire
Well, I'm your Venus, I'm your fire
At your desire

Her weapons were her crystal eyes
Making every man a man
Black as the dark night she was
Got what no-one else had
Wa!

She's got it
Yeah, baby, she's got it
I'm your Venus, I'm your fire
At your desire
Well, I'm your Venus, I'm your fire
At your desire

Goddess on the mountain top
Burning like a silver flame
The summit of beauty and love
And Venus was her name

She's got it
Yeah, baby, she's got it
I'm your Venus, I'm your fire
At your desire
Well, I'm your Venus, I'm your fire
At your desire

[bluntforcemama]

Dill! You just RUINED the whole thing! You wacko pagan.

[Juspar Emvan]

pfft

Dill you suck

[Dillinger]

My apologies... when Juspar posted that thing about "electric heater" I figured that you didn't actually know the lyrics to the song but were just riffing...
