Impeaching Hegseth

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) has introduced eight articles of impeachment against War Secretary Pete Hegseth.

Finally a Republican who can stand up to Dear Supreme Felon.

"Secretary Hegseth's constitutional violations extend beyond the illegal war in Iran,” Massie said in a statement. “He is abusing the power of his office to ignore congressional war powers resolutions, to kidnap foreign leaders, and to intimidate critics of the Trump administration by retaliating against them for exercising free speech. If we are to remain true to our oath to 'support and defend the Constitution of the United States,' Congress must not turn a blind eye to Secretary Hegseth's unconstitutional and illegal actions."

Stand by for retaliation against that free speech in 3,2,1...

Yeah, right.

“The House will have to act on Massie's proposal by Thursday, a quick turnaround. The body is set to leave Washington this week for an extended recess that will end after the midterm elections in November.”

Speaker Little Mikey didn't fancy working to the end of the session so started recess two weeks earlier than it was due.

'I'll be too busy being on vacation to work for you'.

Slap my knee!!! Who would've ever guessed Green and Massey would push for impeachment proceedings. Thank God both of those reprobates are history.

I despise Hegseth and his ilk as much as anyone. But you don't impeach unless you have the votes to remove IMHO. Republicans control the proceedings. Don't give them a win
