I for one totally agree with you on this, I've never liked the word slut to describe a woman, there are many men out there that I consider worse than women but their not called that so neither should a woman.

This is really interesting to me. As a highly sexual woman who's old enough to have experienced a fair bit of life, I am happy to reclaim the label of 'Slut'.
I didn't especially like it when I was younger. It felt dirty - judging - and, obviously, derogatory. Just because I like sex and have had multiple partners, is that really deserving of a special word?
