Our former house had critters, but the cats kept them at bay, unless they caught one, then it was job to remove them from the mouths.

Our make cats are disappointed, since this house is younger than me LOL No mouse and the only rodent that we see is a chipmunk that lives in a stone planter, who loves to tease the gray tabby

the old house was built in 1900, but on a foundation from a farm building that was there before 1800 (loads of ghosts, too). Now the house was completed in 1965, a year AFTER I was born, in part of the city that was a suburb until 1971.

I turn 62 in a few weeks, and I won't be the oldest homeowner in the neighborhood
