We were at my MIL's house a while back, where she has some souvenirs from Mardi Gras in New Orleans in her curio cabinet. My youngest went over there once when he was a toddler and tried to pull the beads off the shelf. My MIL yelled out, "No! Don't take those! You have to earn those beads yourself!"
