In the Realms of Althernargn

"The evening is not fine! Just this afternoon my cub was kidnapped. I left to save him and when I came back, my village was butchered! My wife, parents, all but the males, they were all killed. It is undoubtedly the Snake Master's attack. I want an alliance to once and for all dethrone him!" bellowed Mageta, advancing slowly.

"The Snake Master...?" I trailed off, wondering why they would believe the Snake Master would partake of such a deed.
"It is true," Bavarus said, "We've seen this for ourselves. They must have lured the bears away with this kidnapping."
"What did you see?" i asked.
"Bodies, the signs of a battle," Bavarus returned. "It was clearly an attack on the village."
I looked to the bear who had spoken, seeing the determination in his eyes and wondering why the Snakes would be so aggressive.
"i will consider this, but you must promise me that you will be open-minded toward everything i suggest. Not follow my orders, but merely listen to what i have to say. If you can agree to that, I will sleep on this for at least one night. The Snakes have nowhere to run to, and your anger currently clouds your judgements. Tomorrow, I will travel to your village and witness this for myself." I explained, "I do believe you, ANd you Bavarus, but I want to see if there are any further signs, anything that was missed."

"Alright. I agree. But retribution will come quickly to those who dare to attack me and my kin", he spoke, a white fire kindling in his eyes.

His agreeance relaxed me a little, but still, I knew I would worry. Althernargn was a dangerous place, and it looked as if a war might be in its near future. That would make it impossible to survive.
Bavarus moved closer to me, looking at me questioningly.
"i want to ensure that the Snake Master is behind this. It seems odd that an attack like this would be unprovoked. SOmething isn't right," I said quietly to him.
