It's one thing if it's between two consenting adults. Unfortunately there are people who pray on innocent children and do this nasty deed. Leads to a lot of heartache.

Some bottle it up for years. Some bring it out in behavior of abuse. Some eat until they are so fat, they feel safe that way. Thinking that the person who is victimizing them will lose interest if they become undesireable looking.

I think there are millions of people in the world. People should be leaving their back yards instead of just jumping bedrooms in their own house.

I think anyone who molests a child should either have their balls and penis cut off or their puss sewed, stapled, and glued shut.

I agree with that's been said about sexual relations between parent and child, siblings etc. (ie. immediate family), but where does one draw the line? 2nd cousin, 3rd cousin?!?

I'm sure if we traced back our heritage far enough, we might discover that we all desended from the same people. I'm not necessarily talking about biblical Adam and Eve - but if you were to go back say 20-30 generations, it might be disturbing to find out that your partner whomv you've married is actually a distant relative. Incest might make for an interesting fantasy about imaginary people I don't know, but I don't have any blood relatives I would be interested in that way.

On the onehand, I strongly believe that once both parties have grown to be capable of making their own decisions, however old that might be for them, then it's nobody's bidness but theirs.

On the other hand, you can potentially fuck someone up for life through incest. It's not the sort of thing you want to approach lightly.

As a practicing Wiccan, I live by the "Harm none, do as ye will" rule. But.... In my opinion, sex with a family member has a very high potential for harm! I just can't see how this rule of thumb would have anything to do with incest!?!

I think Bob Waters put it best in a previous post "Sex with a parent is just wrong - morality aside it fucks up the parent child relationship - a complicated one at best. Sex where a power imbalance exists is NEVER entirely consensual and the parent/child relationship is BASED on power imbalance, even when both parties are 'adults'."

I do have to agree with you. Incest definitely has the potential to fuck someone up for life. (So why go there? Ya know?)

Mystic, basically, what I am saying is that while I don't necessarily agree with the idea, I believe that it is not up to me to decide what is right and wrong for others, especially if they be consenting and capable of making such a decision by virtue of their age.

I would never commit incest, but who am I to stop a 30-year-old woman from having sex with her father, for example, if that is her desire?

Obviously, incest involving children is not my idea of right, not only because the child needs the parent(s) to fill other vital roles in order to grow into adulthood and be healthy emotionally, but because I believe, as most would agree, that sex with someone under a reasonable age is potentially harmful to the child be it incest or not.

Don't get me wrong, but I think it's a matter for two mutually consenting adults to decide in private. It's not for me, and I don't think children should ever enter the picture, but between mutually consenting adults, that's their business and not mine.

I was a wiccan and I had a romance with my sister. I do not see it as sick. I have hide it from our parents and younger brother as it was private. That my sister loved her me, her younger brother was wonderful. I learned about sex and love. Ours was not a relationship that could last but it was positive experience for us both. We were teens and in love.

Family love for your sister when mixed with sex is overwhelming for a teen. Our was an unusual in that we were sibling and in love but I suspect that is not as uncommon as some think. Any adult having sex with a child is a molester but two consenting siblings is not that case.
