Info about Angeline

I can only hope they won't arrest me for indecent behavior or some such after I'm discharged! I was rather amazed that a) the hospital offers free wireless and b) that I can actually access Lit from here. All I can say is that my town is a dark blue dot in a sea of red. Everything is copacetic here, but drive 15 minutes outside of town and you're in Mayberry!

This is a very entertaining thread. Thank you all for that. If it weren't for all of you I'd be listening to Donald Trump insult Meagan Kelly for the 15 gazillionth time today. Bless you all for the break from that!

Lol. I missed this when you first posted it. I'll have to check the MRI to see what I can spare. As long as the poem bone ain't connected to the backbone I think it's OK. Then again... ew. Just ew. :D
 
As usual I'm way, way late to the party; even the "wonderful poet suffers painful surgery and hospitalization" parties. But I'm glad my tardiness allowed me to read UnderYourSpell's exposition and then skip straight down to the happy denoument. Good to hear your okay Angeline.

Yesterday I drove my car for the first time since being hospitalized. I felt like shouting "Free at last"!

I am slowly getting better. I'm driving, I'm walking every day, doing therapy-- mostly exercises, but I'm going to start swimming soon now that I can get myself to a pool. It has been a hell of an ordeal, but I'm on the right track. I still get tired easily and haven't been so motivated to write, but I'll bounce back. Poetry will sing its siren song to me again soon, no doubt.
