Initiate bisexual encounters?

Can anyone tell me how in the world bisexual men approach other men without getting harassed, assaulted or ridiculed? This has me totally stymied and I'm at a bit of a loss. It seemed like it was easier in college. Any help forthcoming?

Well there isn't really a different way to initiate encounters compared to other sexes, its the same, checking the signals, etc

but I suppose if you dont want the harassment, like if he turned out to be straight, then most I can think of is trying to find a gay bar, that way you can make sure

Why not post a personal ad so you reach your target market, and browse through others from gay and/or bi men? That's what I do to avoid any unnecessary awkwardness and making other women uncomfortable.

You could do it here, or somewhere like Craigslist, a free personals/networking site like OKCupid, or some of the many Bi/GLBT-specific sites.
100% Free Bi Personals
Free Bi Perosnals (broader, but some aren't really free)
100% free personals bi males

Good luck, have fun, and be safe! :)

SweetErika always gives such good advice.

At least in my experience, posting an ad on one of the internet sites is the safest way if you are worried about the responses that you may get.

We do tend to get our signals crossed up sometimes and that can lead to some embarrasment but I've never been ridiculed or assulted. I'm sure that it does happen on occasion. Even if you are tactful and subtle.

In my experience though, you will get the sign one way or the other if there is any interest at all.

I'm straight, but I've been hit on by guys at video stores and porn shops -- especially the ones that let you enter a closet and throw quarters into a machine to watch porn fliks. (Do they even still have those places?)

Guess they were looking for someone to share the closet with them... Not the most romantic of surroundings, but it's a start.

Just don't initiate an encounter with an undercover cop. Of course, how do you know whether or not someone is an undercover cop?

That's serious advice, whether or not you want to consider it as such.

I've lost count how many times I've accidentally done that

And I can't tell you how many law enforcement officers I've "dated" posing as someone much younger.

Oh, those law enforcement personnel are HOTTIES!
