Interesting Earl pictures

I am sure Elsie or Svenska could tell you more correctly, but I think the doll bases are just the basic human figure. You add facial features, hair, clothing, etc., that you either created in MS Paint (or some other program), or you get them from a doll website. Then, you build a doll with the different layers. :)

When you said base addict…I thought, "He sure is casual about freebasing…" Glad it's subwoofers instead. ;)

Luck,

Yui

Yes. A base usually is a human figure, in some pose, withour hair, sometimes without a face, most of the time shaded in order to look a bit more 3D.
Then you use some kind of program (MS Paint, Photoshop, PaintShopPro...) to draw the clothes, the hair, and the face. Here's one of mine:

Very nice doll, Svenska! I like the colors in the clothes. Did you make the whole think from just a base?!? I am impressed. I have to use the Candybar site because I am too lame to know how make them on my own.

It's a little scary (not bad, just spooky) to think a thread started by TheEarl to bring attention to his new AV displaying his "manly" chest has been, let's say, sidetracked, highjacked seems so harsh, by folks talking about dolls.

Rumply Foreskin
marvels aloud
how the chest of The Earl,
so manly and proud,
could spawn a spate
of frills and swirls
and turn these twats
into girly girls.

LJ, you're a great poet, and I hope you know it.
(obviously, I'm not)

That was fun. Thank you.

I'm not sure I want to forgive the speechmarks around manly. I'd say the chest gets the accolade of manly just for it having spent the last 80 minutes playing rugby.

The rest of me didn't of course, just my chest.

Must have been hell in the scrums or should I say, more hell than usual in the scrums. ;)

Thanks, Rumple! I'm glad you enjoyed it, although I think of it as word play rather than poetry.
