International Happiness Day!

Norge is on my bucket list. There's a museum in Bodø that I'd like to visit, plus see some of the fjords and wild mountain places. 😎

What museum? I won't be close enough to Bodø to visit it myself, but I'm curious. And you must go! Norge is a lovely place to be. You won't be disappointed. I recommend going during strawberry season, if you like them.

Anaheim is worth missing... in my experience, anyway. Orange County contains WAY TOO MANY Californicators, and their automobiles!

I've never had much interest in Disney. If I ever go, I think I would choose Orlando. But not in summer.

Norsk Luftsfahrtsmuseum. Some amazing aircraft recovered from the fjords.

Disney? I'm with you... Been to Orlando three times when my son was a kid. Overpriced and a fantasy of the "perfect" America....

The Catalina.

35 years ago, a Catalina landed at the Soldotna airport when I was getting on an Otter. It was a privately owned by a fishing club and they came to Alaska to go fishing. Quite a nice fishing machine.

I'd prefer a Widgeon. Maybe one with all the George Pappas mods. Send his daughter Cindy, I remember her to be pretty cute with nice tits.

Speaking of "Cats", what ever happened to "The Ghost of Dago Lake"?

Looks like an interesting museum, but I got sidetracked by the waffle at the bottom of their webpage. I might be a little hungry.

Waffle?

What do Norwegians eat with their waffles? Herring and lingonberries?

Still sitting there. I like that little museum, but am not a fan of the guy that started it.

She was built in Montreal by Canadian Vickers, for the USAAC, so is an OA-10A, not a PBY... rare bird. Definitely a bit of Alaskan history. 😎

Mostly strawberry jam, raspberry jam, or brunost. Brunost can be combined with the jam. You'll find them nearly everywhere. They aren't eaten as breakfast, they are treats to have during the day, often with coffee.

Substantial snacks! :D

Of course, they're doing loppets all winter, so they burn those calories! ;)

Yes! Though the waffles there aren't quite so thick as they are in the U.S. and Canada, in my experience. They aren't slathered in butter, just a bit of jam, usually. Sometimes, depending on where you're eating them, there are no utensils, and they are picked up in hand, folded, and eaten that way.

They're quite nice when you've been wandering about outside all day.

Another reason to make the trip. :)

I will need about 7 weeks, to see what I want to see in Northwest Europe - EXCLUDING the British Isles... any middle-aged female tour guides out there, willing to share expenses? 😜

A wink! Is that for me? :D

I don't know any good tour guides, but I'll keep an eye out in case I come across one.

I can neither confirm nor deny, that the wink was for you, Ma'am....

I would appreciate it, if you'd advise me, when one IS found. :D

I have people in Norway. Hopefully I'll be going sometime before next winter.

I enjoy it in winter, too. It's so pretty when everything is decorated for the holidays. Where are your people? Mine are mostly in Trondheim.
