Interracial relationships can in my opinion be a sharing of cultures. That can only make a more "universal" understanding. Also improve to remove racial tensions in the future.

President elect Obama of the United States is a fantastic example of the way we should be going in the world. The world is getting smaller regarding communication, travel and shared cultures.

I'm a white male and I can say after being intimate in one way or another with Asian, Latina,and African women I can say their all fun in their own way. The way life has turned out - I've only ever slept with women from the same ethnic background as me. That's not a conscious choice, by any means - just the way things have been, the women I've happened to meet.

This may be a huge generalisation, but I wonder if here in England, it's easier for people from my background - white, middle class - to come out as gay, publicly and to families, than for people of some other cultures.

Skin colour is neither here nor there; I'm happily partnered but in a parallel universe I think it would be enriching to have a relationship with a woman from a very different culture from my own.

That said, re skin, I do always find women with olive/eastern Mediterranean skin tones really sexy...
