Brilliant mind but over confidence a cover to his below average sexual abilities. Girls see the nice cars, gadgets and money but never hang about for long.

Pepper the only one to stand by him. But quietly confident war machine has no bravado covering up insecurities. This is one gun Tony cant match.

Possibilities for sequals or to expand. Double teamed with Nick Fury etc

Isn't the whole idea of a wife/girlfriend who cuckolds her man is that she goes for the "younger man?" The thing about Pepper Potts is that she hasn't ever gone for brawn, but intellect, otherwise she would have been shackin' up with capt'n long time ago.

In steps Peter Parker, and he's recently turned eighteen. He has that wildly inventive imagination that she used to see in Tony Stark, but Tony lacks. Tony's had too much easy street for so long. She see's the fire in Peter, that is only smoldering with Tony.

Pepper has that cougar attraction that titillates and confuses your friendly neighborhood spiderman.

In real life, I'm an engineer, much like Stark. (Well, except for the money, success, and good looks.) I can totally get how the girl should be with me, based on all logic, but still ends up with the moronic jock instead. Story of our lives. And I'm sure that drives much of life's drama, not to mention much erotic literature.
