I don't know anything about Craig's list but all online dating or even regular dating is hit and miss. I actually found my current wife online and it has worked out well. Just after I had starting dating her though I got a response from my personals add and I wrote back, sorry, but I've found someone now and I want to see how it works out with her first before I try someone else. She wrote back bummed out and said she was taking her personals add off and was going to quit because everyone she communicated with seemed to be a jerk. I wrote her back and encouraged her not to quit because it was actually working for her the way it was supposed to. What I mean is you find out who the jerks are first, before actually going out with them on a date, which is far better than finding out someone is a jerk while out on a date. This girl lived in the sticks but a couple of months later she wrote back thanking me for telling her not to quit because she had found Mr. Right - and he lived just a few short miles from her, in the sticks as well. As far as I know they got married and lived happily ever after.

I was told by a friend of mine if I'd like to know a little personal lust (instead of just phone calls) then I should try "Craigslist" website.

For the major website there are also sites pertaining to cities in US & around the world. So, I tried being local and was truly crushed.

All the ads were redirects and sent me a link to a site, total bait-and-switch. Ridiculous!

I don't want to put a picture of my cock or face on the site, and I don't want to waste my time when I could be buying swingers magazines and having the same thing occur via the mail.

The success ratio was about the same: 1 - 10 real vs. fake.

every site with free advertising is going to have a large amount of spam, you kinda have to sift through it all. here is a site I use that has reviews of escorts. check out theeroticreview.com you can search in the u.s. but it is a membership based site but with a little cross referencing you find the numbers. also look at cityvibe.com and click your city and reviewed girls. good luck and don't get caught. 1 caution about using craigslist, the police are well aware of this site and conduct periodic stings.so a sting could happen in your area becuase it made the news recently.

IMO, the first ad is really creepy (the skull & crossbones especially doesn't inspire confidence in the writer's lack of serial killer tendencies) and the second sounds creepy and sleazy. Both seem somewhat forced and fake, too. Most women aren't going to respond to ads that have the slightest hint of sleazy, creepy or disingenuous - that's just asking for trouble.

Methinks you're setting yourself up for failure and being melodramatic.

And if you want a kinky partner or an emotional connection, the CE section of CL is unlikely to produce as many results as your local kinky community, BDSM dating and social networking sites, and places and sites that have women who are looking for emotional connections.

I notice you didn't type your craiglist ad with centered, italic/odd font, colored text that included a picture. You can type like the rest of humanity! Why don't you do that here? If your stuff was more pleasant to read (ie: less formatted, "normal" paragraphs) you might have better luck communicating. Maybe it's just me, but when I see your posts I want to delete them. why the heck don't yo just get a pro if you're looking for instant gratification? If you're hunting for one off CL make sure you search around for reviews or something to make sure the ad isn't a fake or a bait/switch deal.
