Joan Doesn't Go in his Workshop.

Now that that’s some calendar girl!
Not that one by the sink over there, this,
Laboring on her knees like that.
Yes, that’s some strapping miss,
This month’s Miss September who bears
My full attention baring what she wears.

Try as I might to work in my workshop,
I can’t! Jehovah as my witness bears
The truth in that, if He should see me now.
However much or little she wears,
Bares, or dares my imagination, I should force
Chaste thoughts, like those goddam bus tours

Joan insists upon…but if Joan looked like that
She’d be an eyeful, posing on all fours
And then we could be rich,
Charging rich voyeurs for tours,
Foursomes, etcetera not OK,
Of course. (You know who’d say “No way!”)

But baring her wares with tours de force would miss
The point, OK? No way she bears an ass like this.
