from my experience it is every guys fantasy, but the guy kinda needs to be sure that the couple will stay a couple afterwards. If it is 2 girls and a guy then basically it's more of being secure in the relationship and really knowing that what ever happens people will not hold it over each others heads. I think it depends on the guy.

On all levels perhaps there is a fantasy of wanting a threesome, but there are many things that go along with that, and have a bearing on it happening.

You're probably right about most guys... but not all.
For me, if most of the people I know found out I was involved in a threesome, regardless of genders, I'd be socially, well... screwed.
