Speaking as a gal who has recently (in the last 6 months or so) gone from completely natural to completely shaved, I can say this much...When I had hair down there, I never really minded it, and only got complaints from men I could only describe as immature. I shaved it off, mostly just to see what it was like for my own benefit over the summer, and I really like it. Granted it can get uncomfortable at times when I wait too long inbetween shaves, but overall I really like it and the reaction I have gotten from the few boys who have seen it is priceless.

I've done it a few times, and even sported the stripe for a couple of years... Its not the initial shaving it all off that gets me.
Its that I have to wait a few days (up to a week and a half) before it is safe to shave again ... or I'll have to battle the red bumbs and itchyness from hell. So I guess it isn't the initial doing it for me (bc i don't mind either way I just prefer a nice lil well kept bush up top) but the up keep.

Doesn't a lot of it depend on what style of undies you wear? I prefer the "french cut" style and I usually trim the edges to keep it inside the panty line.

If I were going to wear a thong, I would probably want to trim more, but I don't like the way thongs emphasize how wide I am.

It bald or very well groomed (for both sexes). I have been shaved completely for over a year now and absolutely love it! I actually got my husband to shave his (YEAY). It makes us feel really clean and ready to go!!! I say to each his own and everyone is going to have different tastes in how they like it. I happen to have always kept things pretty natural down there...a bit of shaving on the edges during bathing suit times, and I did not realize until really the last couple of years that sooo many women (and men) shaved completely in their genital areas. I guess I just never really felt a desire to and I was never with a partner who did or asked me about it. The few others that I knew that shaved were considerably younger than I (not that that matters) so it just kind of struck me as a youth or generation difference thing. Also (and again both a bit younger) my most recent two partners actually both shaved completely. I can't say that as a woman having sexual relations with a man that whether the man is shaved or not really matters to me. I'd figure whatever they are comfortable with is good.

I kind of find males or females shaved to seem like many of you have said, prepubescent. I don't think I'd care for shaving completely, but may try it. Recently I was asked if why I didn't shave that I was "out of style". Well I'm glad to know from fello Lit folks that I'm not THAT out of style

It depends entirely on my mood. If I feel like going bare and wearing something really silky just to feel the different sensation, I'll do it. Otherwise, I'll just keep neatly trimmed.

Though, I have been with one man who said if he wanted to sleep with a little girl, he would go find one. That told me that the shaven thing wasn't a good plan when I was in bed with him!

My hubby keeps me well-trimmed with his beard/mustache trimmer. I don't want the "little girl" look either, but trimmed feels nice.

The hairier the better on my men, so I don't even go for trimming on him!
