I have only been here a couple of years and stayed away from the PB in the beginning but what do the old timers think? Is the cesspool we call the PB at its zenith of scumbaggery? Or has it been worse?

For those of us that aren't Americans, we find your constant squabbling on here amusing. Something in your brains thinks that arguing on a message board that few people even read is going to change anything. Meanwhile, none of you have even been able to change each other's minds. Every post it's the same shit. Someone posts something they saw on social media, people comment to say they're dumb, the original poster says it back, and nothing changes. Not on this board, and definitely not in Washington.

Getting actual change would be hard. You'd have to form militant labor unions and organize mass protests that shut down the system (instead of the glorified "get out the vote" efforts that Americans have now that last a day and are entirely irrelevant). You'd have to do something that Americans just don't like doing-going out and talking to people. Instead Americans just scream on the internet and wait for four years for a new president that's the same as the old one, except this time it's "my" party that's doing all the bad things so now it's magically okay. It's a giant circle jerk.

Americans are either really propagandized or really stupid. I don't know which, but anyone who thinks this is doing anything except making people stare into their own belly buttons is delusional.
