I'm not sure that I'd want that. It sounds too much like projection of one's desires on another — and perhaps cruelly so if the crush were to remain unstated or unrequited.

I've had the converse situation — a Litster blushingly admitting that she had a bit of a crush on me. Contrary to her worst fears, it all worked out fantastically well. She, tinglebliss and I are all firm friends now, regularly exchanging naughty banter. I'm not sure whether the crush is still an ongoing thing, but the revelation for us all at the time was that her bravery in admitting it was the key to obtaining our trust — not the reverse.
