Happy New Year all!
There are definitely a few here that I'd like to hang out with for an afternoon, tip a few beers back, and properly meet.
It would be interesting to see, if only there was a way, if the orbits of some Lit folks would even intersect in real life had Lit not caused this convergence. Appearance / looks may play some small part in this, but I would be more interested in the social, geographical, family, career, financial, educational, etc. dynamics that make little difference here on the boards, but may determine whether or not we would even meet out in the real world, or hamper connecting with one another.
It would also be intriguing to see just how much more we have in common with those we have connected with, or become fond of.

There are and have been several and those I have had the power to meet, geographically, I have and will do so...that's what it's all about, I can walk away from here without a backward glance knowing that those who mean the most to me have moved into other spheres in my real life...and that's not just people in the UK, I have and have every intention of meeting others from all around the world...I owe several a beer at least...and a giggle...
