HUGE apologies, y'all. I' swear I'm safe, happy (thrilled), relaxed, fantabulous, yadayadayada.

The flight got hung up in Miami (fire in the airport, then mechanical issues with the plane, so I didn't actually clear cutoms/etc until almost 7 Wednesday. I did try to check in Thursday, but kept getting "Host not Found" error messages, so couldn't access Lit, then yesterday was the grand adventure of driving into Santiago to run errands- which ended up taking until after dark.

I'm just... wow. And the chemistry thing?

It's so gorgeous here. And J's so freaking incredible a man... I honestly haven't felt this safe and comfy and relaxed in years.

Off to read the other thread y'all started, and I'm so sorry to have worried anyone.

Well, I must say it's about time. But, sounds like you are having fun, and that's great.

Now, could you maybe keep a schedule? You know we all want to live our lives out in your good fortune.

Yes I'll talk to J about remembering to check in more frequently. I really am sorry y'all got worried... I've been having the nicest time, and the inverter for the generator is a bit spotty right now, which means power is sometimes spotty, which means I've been bouncing around being normal flightly me (having a fabulous time... did I mention yet what a fabulous time I've been having?), and forgetting how much y'all worry.

Pfffft, we weren't worried. What makes you think that?

Thank God she is not only okay but having a wonderful time by the sound of things. Chris I do have to ask however , did she give you direct permission to provide the more intimate excerpt from a private message ? Outside of Lit rules for such things it just seems a little off task for her usual MO . I have been careful not to quote that part of your post based on witnessed prior experience.
