so of COURSE...you lose

How about...

Now in the street there is violence,
and then lots of work to be done.
No place to hang out our washin,
and then they can blame all on the sun..

<Chorus>We gonna rock down to...(title)

Eddy Grant--Electric Avenue

(Another one hit wonder)

So true funny how it seems
always in time, but never in line for dreams.
Head over heels when toe to toe.
This is the sound of my soul,
this is the sound

I bought a ticket to the world,
but now I've come back again
Why do I find it hard to write the next line?
Oh I want the truth to be said

True by Spandau Ballet....

Here's another one kiddies.......

"Hey baby, I'm talking to you. Stop yourself and listen. Some things you can never, ever do, even though you're tryin.
You're banging your head again cause somebody won't let you in."

Never by Heart (Gotta know our Pacific NW Bands)

Not my favorite by this group, but is ok...

Somewhere in a lonely hotel room
There's a guy starting to realize
That eternal fate has turned his back on him...
It's 2 A.M......

It's 2 A.M. the fear has gone
I'm sitting here waiting the gun still warm
Maybe my connection is tired of taking chances

Twilight Zone
Golden Earring.

this may be a real easy one...

In violent times
You shouldn´t have to sell your soul
In black and white
They really really ought to know
Those one track minds
That took you for a working boy

Shout - Tears for Fears

How about this one?

People say I should forget
New friend tomorrow
Don't get upset
People say she's doing fine
Mutual friends I see sometime

I was acting as if you were lucky to have me
Doing you a favor - I hardly knew you at all
Then you were gone and it all was wrong
Had no idea how much I cared

For Stacy....

That's Chicago...Hard Habit to Break

Post Pete Cetera, I believe......

Alrighty, another one to keep the ball rollin'

"How....How can it be that a loved carved out of caring, fashioned by fate, could suffer so hard from the games played once too often."

The song was on Chicago 17 and Peter Cetera was still in the band. I've been to the last concert tour with Peter Cetera and the first tour without Peter Cetera and I really couldn't tell you which one I liked better.

Glad I found this thread, I've been searching my cd's and listening to some 'oldies'.

How, how can it be that a love carved out of caring, fashioned by fate, could suffer so hard from the games played once too often?
But making mistakes is apart of life's imperfections. Through all the years, is it so hard to be human after all....."

Keep thinking of songs and then realizing they are from the nineties....

...goes to my head, makes me forget, that I still need you so.....
