It confuses me really. Why does what I have done hold relevance to what I want to do now?

And where I go on paper with myself or others might be different to where I want to go with someone else?

Whatever this is supposed to mean.

If someone asks me which ice cream I enjoyed in the past, I'll say 'Stracciatella'.

I don't get how the question or the answer can be confusing. I also don't feel the urge to insinuate that the enquirer is interested in denying me other kinds of ice cream, is going to buy me that ice cream right now or fishes for some ice cream date.


What I do understand is that someone might have no interest in filling out a list of whatever, because this is fairly impersonal and might not encourage an actual dialog.

Taking a look at the sex map again, I noticed for the first time it has a "Literotica Bay".

It's not I am afraid of lists...but in a dialogue where I can guage what I want to bring up with the person and what I can say 'hey, you know I don't want to go there with you' as a neither yes nor no. It to me creates a different kind of false picture.

Hell, if it works for people. Great! I am just not one of them, it remains an odd way of trying to guage for me.

You cannot blame the puzzle piece for being unable to show the whole puzzle.

My hatered towards the sex map is that it's just so stupidly impractical. Give me a normal spreadsheet version of a check list and I'll fill it out if it's important to you, but geez, not that map.

It also rubs me way wrong that those people who have asked to see my sex map have done so very, very early on, and it has felt like an attempt to avoid discussion.

I have found the sex map to be amusing and interesting as a jumping off point for additional conversation, but, I think I would have the same reaction as you if it were brought forward as a tool to use as an entree point early on in a getting to know you better.

I have only ever looked at it with people I had already established a lot of trust and history with.
