Lydia Allen was home alone. Again on a saturday night. Her husband Brian had been stationed overseas for nearly 2 months now and she hated it. She had wanted to go with him but due to some work issues, she couldn't leave. At least not yet. Perhaps in two week...maybe...it all depended on how things worked out.

A co-worker was supposedly on his way over tonight and they needed to work on a project together. It needed to be done before Monday morning. For some reason, Lydia didn't tell Brian about it when she had talked to him earlier tonight, she didn't think she had to but at the same time, she felt guilty for not telling him...

Just then, the doorbell rang and she got up to answer it. She was dressed somewhat different....at least it was different to her coworker Jeff, who always saw her in suits and/or business casual. They would be ordering pizza and each was prepared to work through the night to get this project done.

Jeff was a bit nervous as he drove over to Lydia's house. They were coworkers, but she was the one everyone in the office was always talking about. They could have used the conference room at the office, even on a weekend, but Lydia thought it would be better to do it at her place.

Jeff was a few years older than Lydia, and had been with the company for two years. Technically, he was her superior, but for all intensive purposes, they were both working on this project together, as equal partners, a team of two.

Jeff got to Lydia's and parked his Prius, walking up the short walk and ringing the doorbell. When she answered, he was surprised to say the least, but, he hid it well. She did not look like the same professional woman he saw every day, no, this was the type of girl he'd be trying to pick up at a bar.

Opening the door, Lydia gave Jeff a bright smile. He looked so different in his 'casual clothes' that she almost didn't recognize him without a tie. "Hi!" she exclaimed as she waved him in. Since her time working with at the agency, Lydia didn't think she ever brought anyone from work home, even to meet for lunch or what have you. Jeff was the first.

"Come on in.." she told him and watched him enter before closing the door after he was in. "Well, the dinner room is right this way...come with me," she told him in a rather quiet voice.

At work, Lydia was more assertive but out of her element and back home, she was more reserved and calm.

Tonight she was dressed in black t-shirt, formfitting and a pair of brown khaki pants, little ankle boots completed her outfit. She was wearing her hair down when it was usually pulled back or pinned up at work.

"So I take it you didn't have any trouble finding the place?"

"No, no trouble at all. GPS is a great invention." In actuality, he hadn't wanted to be late, so he had driven by a few hours earlier just to make sure he knew where it was. When they got to the dining room, her laptop was open and the papers were spread out across the desk.

"I take it we're working in here then?" Jeff asked, putting his briefcase up on the table and opening it. Taking out his laptop and the papers he had brought home with him, and spreading them out across from Lydia's seat. He figured from here he might get a little glimpse of cleavage if she leaned over to write something.

He looked around the room, noticing the decor and the few pictures of Lydia and her husband. He was a handsome man, as would be expected for a young beauty, but Jeff knew that he had been overseas for a while, and he had heard rumors too.

An hour had passed and both adults were engrossed in their work, each keeping it business like and even though it sounded a little crazy, it was a fun evening. Gone were the restrictions of business clothes and business chatter. A few personal questions were asked but nothing serious.

Soon, Lydia felt her stomach growl and she looked up at Jeff. With a hint of embarrassment in her face, she giggled. Something she rarely did. "I'm sorry, but I think it's time we take a break and perhaps order something to eat? I don't have much to cook since my husband left... maybe some chinese or pizza? Your call, Jeff." She told him, a smile lighting up her eyes.
