My appointment for my ultrasound was this morning, and it's a girl! We're naming her Brooklyn Giselle.

The ultrasound pictures are freaking adorable. I can already see she's going to turn out beautiful, I just hope she gets Mister's black hair!!

Congratulations. I'm so very excited for you and offer you all of my joy. Little Brooklyn and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I bet she's gonna grow up to be quite a little heart breaker...:)

Pics, pics, pics! We wanna see the ultrasound, too! <pout> After all, it's sort of like little BeeGee™ has a couple hundred god/dess parents in here, ya know...

Yes, I know, Mister slacked off majorly in that department last ultrasound. However, these pictures are very clear with a fantastic full-frontal shot of her face and I very badly want to share them, so I'm not going to let him slack off this time. We're getting them digitalized hopefully by Tuesday and I'll be able to post them.

Congratulations! Did I miss you mentioning your due date on another thread?

I didn't mention it seeing as how it's changed every single time they've examined me, but now they've got it down to August the 30th.

Now what's confusing you, gracie - "god/dess parents?" That's my lefthanded acknowledgment of both the Christians and the pagans among us... godparents for the Christians, goddessparents for the pagans. :p

How all inclusive of you. ;)

That's not what confused me. It's not the first time people have used that 'word', and I get that it's kinda like pyl, something used to include whichever label you choose for your god.

The beegees part confused me.

Huh?

Yeah, it's gonna be no me gusta.

I'm trying to squeeze a pool into our budget. I'm a water sign, and no one should have to make me suffer through a difficult pregnancy in the worst throes of summer in Oklahoma without a godamn pool!

Brooklyn Giselle = BG = "Little BeeGee"

I thought it was a super cute nickname.

Awesome excuse.

I'm gonna remember that one.

That said, my oldest two were born mid and late August. It sucked. I could go ON about it, but I try not to do that to those who are preggers. It's mean.

With my kids we spent almost all our time at the river, and I spent all that time up to my waist in the water.

Heaven. :D

when I wasn't at the river I had my feet in ice water (literally), and a wet rag around my neck.

My kids were born in May, June, July, and Aug. in Phoenix. If it weren't for my dad's pool, I would have died of heat stroke!

I can't go to the lake here...no one pregnant, old, or young can this year. Some a-hole bought the land across from the lake and put a bunch of cows in to pasture, and now the water is infected with salmonella and e-coli.

Wow, you've got quite the litter! ^_^

Phoenix is gorgeous. The heat is there dry, so it's more tolerable to me lately, I wish I could move there. Any humidity makes me sweat right now, even cold humidity. :(

I must like you people. If I'd heard about this anywhere I'd have found something to complain about, but for once I'm happy. Congratulations!

*shakes head* Wait, MisterSir made a post where he wasn't complaining or being a Mr. Cranky-pants?!

QUICK! GET TO HOME DEPO AND STOCK UP ON DUCT TAPE AND WATER! THE END OF THE WORLD IS COMING!!!

:D

We love you too, you hilarious bastard.
