J. D. Vance's Munich speech.

He intends to create a Thievocracy, with him as the head, there will be no end of term for him. He desires to rule for life and is working towards that at lighting speed. It took Hitler 50 days or so. I'm not sure he can break Hitlers record, but he is well on his way.
His plan is to fuck things up so badly that he can then declare martial law.

However, unlike the recent similar situation in South Korea, his hand-appointed hacks in the U.S. Supreme Court will not stop him.

So you're right, past tense. This administration is, so far, committed to transparency, free speech. That entire policy is anathema to ALL politicians that have based there careers saying one thing and doing another. That applies to all of them, both foreign and domestic.

Almost everyone likes sausage, virtually no no one wants to see how it's made. And the process is what's being exposed.
Unless you are a troll or a performance art poster, you are quite off your fucking rocker.

Transparency: we’re finding corruption everywhere! Where you ask? Well, we’re cutting everything so we must be weeding out all kinds of corruption! What, no, we’re NOT throwing the baby out with the bath water!

Free speech: Fuck off API! Thou art banned for not bending the knee and kissing the Gulf of America ring!

Maybe they'd still be employed if they'd been true their oath. If they'd been true to their oath DOGE would be finding almost nothing.
Troll vs performance art vs dummy.

The inspector generals were fired because of what they do, which is what trump doesn’t want them to do. So poof, no oversight or accountability.

He called out the EU leaders to their face and put them on notice as to the US position on their antics. Needless to say they were outraged, insulted. And that was the entire point of the speech because Vance wasn't speaking to them, they're a lost cause. He was speaking to their citizens and that is probably going to be the administrations policy going forward.
I saw the speech. Vance is a great communicator and can came with fire. There were a lot of glum faces in the audience as he rubbed their noses in their own hypocrisy. Deep down they know he's right. In their eyes the offense was to mention it publicly.

Just wait for the first time "THE PEOPLE" hit the streets to protest.
This time, 'resident 'rump will order that they have their legs shot out from under them.
Then........ martial law.
How soon before he sends Congress home. That would save so much money and create a far more efficient government.
MAYBE if they impeach enough judges he will hold off on this move.

When do they start work on his face on Rushmore? Surely he wants that completed before his third term begins.

Is it reasonable to ban insults?

BabyBoomer50s being racist:

[Elizabeth Holms riots] Geez, the case hasn’t even gone to the jury and the rioters in CA are already looting the high end fashion stores. If the verdict goes the wrong way the streets of Walnut Creek, San Francisco, and LA could be filled with blondes in black turtlenecks. Not even going to guess how this would all go down if she were black.

Why? What does Jens Stoltenberg's tearful Effeminacy have to do with the Chancellor Scholz's Pretentiousness?
What matters is this, in which there is no pretentiousness at all:

German chancellor slams Vance's call for Europe to be inclusive of far-right parties

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz sharply rebuked U.S. Vice President JD Vance on Saturday, a day after Vance gave a speech saying European leaders should not shun far-right political parties.

At the second day of the Munich Security Conference, Scholz spoke about the atrocities of the Holocaust, pointing out that Vance recently visited the Dachau concentration camp and used the phrase "never again."

Scholz emphasized that a commitment to "never again" also applies to political parties like Germany's far-right Alternative for Germany party, also known as the AfD, which has downplayed the horrors of the Nazi regime.

He went on to say Germany will not accept outsiders intervening in the country's elections, adding: "That is not done, certainly not among friends and allies."

Both Scholz and Vance's remarks come just over a week before Germany heads into a major election. The AfD — which has been endorsed by Trump adviser and billionaire Elon Musk — is polling in second place.
