Because I saw an animated thing that I think was advertised at "Ultimate Avengers", and it looked almost exactly like an animated version of The Ultimates, complete with starting line-up of Giant Man, Wasp, Iron Man, and Captain America. Thor showing up later when Hulk shows up and starts eating people...

Yeah, it was based on the Ultimates complete with a black Nick Fury and everything.
