I've been out of town for the last few days. I had some business in Chicago and so was there for a miserable few days. I love Chicago as I go most big cities, but hate lousy weather. I lived for a number of years in the east and know that's the way of spring, but don't have to like it. The only redeeming part is that the beautiful spring days make it all worth it. It was just my bad luck that the weather was gray and gloomy.

You know someone wrote that they enjoyed intelligent conversation but had the impression that most women thought that most guys were hard up.

Now... I think the word choice is wrong. Hard up isn't what most guys are, but horny is. Most women don't think most guys are horny, we know it. Now some women and probably a lot look down and disdain guys for this perceived weakness.

I think those women are idiots!!!

I love that guys are horny, I'm not saying crude and rude and obnoxious, I hate that. But I love that guys find me attractive and want to do things to me. I mean why wouldn't I? I like guys and the things they do. I love it when they lose control... I love it all and certainly don't look down on them. That just seems so counterproductive and I don't understand it even if it seems to be the style now. I think it's just plain stupid. I see these commercials on tv making guys out to be complete idiots, guys whose lives are controlled by women who act more like mothers than lovers and I don't get it. I mean I'm talking commercials from companies like Lowes and Home Depot who I would think would want to be drawing men to their stores. Instead they make them look like assholes. I won't buy stuff from them, I can't imagine why guys would. My thinking is that the pendulum swings in both directions, today they're making fun of men, tomorrow it'll be me. Why in the world would I give my money to a company that thinks so little of their customers? Fuck them!!

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to jump on a soapbox there, it's just that stuff pisses me off and creates this friction between the sexes that shouldn't be there. I'm a woman and I love men. I love men who love women, the fact that you're all horny just says that you're attracted to me. Why in the world would any woman in the world look down on that? I know that a lot do, but I don't understand it. I hear women referring to normal horny guys as perverts.

Maybe it's just me, but the last time I checked, men interested in women is normal. Perverts are after children, the dead and other similar perversities. There are perverted acts, but not too much that happens between men and woman is what I would consider perverted.

I really can't address homosexuality since that's not really my thing, but if it's sex between consenting adults then I don't see where it's anyone else's business to judge it. You don't like it, don't do it, other than that, keep your mouth shut, it's not your business.

So anyway... that's just my two cents on the subject. To those guys who think that most woman don't appreciate you, welcome to my page. I like guys... pure and simple, you make me smile, laugh and moan, what more could I ask.

Oh yeah... my brackets. All my teams made it to the final four so my stupid method worked. Now we'll see if Memphis goes all the way. As you may recall, I chose Memphis based on which of the couches I thought was the sexiest and I'm standing by that. Right now, I'm in second one point behind the leader and ahead of third place by 12 points in one pool, and tied for first 13 points out in front of second in the second pool.

Not too shabby... if I must say so.

And junior... oh my junior, he had a good day, I was pulling for him, but will take a 6th.

I agree with your thoughts, and wish more ladies could begin to have your depth of understanding on the subject of men and women.

The only exception or addition, if you will, that I have with your thoughts concerns homosexuality. I agree that what adults choose to do is "THEIR" business. What frustrats me is that some homosexuals feel they are being treated worse or discriminated against (Lord I hate that word "discrimination") as a result of their sexual preferance! To choose to partner with a member of the same sex is okay by me if that is what the indviduals want to do. However, don't expect me or society to extend equal and/or special "rights" to you for YOUR having made that choice. Marriage, as example, is as defined in most religions and legal sectors, as being between a Man and a Woman. So, having said that, our society is based upon marriage in may sectors for benifits and/or certain/different status'. If one choses to live life as a homosexual, then the "benifits" of marriage, don't extend to them.

I think the only comment I have there is that I don't think homosexuality is a choice. I don't know the whole thing about benefits and rights/privileges accorded to married couples that shouldn't be accorded to same sex couples. But if 2 people love each other and aren't hurting anyone else then I just don't see the problem... I just don't... get married and enjoy your life.

I agree that just because you're homosexual that you shouldn't get special treatment in any way but it seems to be that many people who are involved in that lifestyle feel that they should be accorded some sort of special rights. You know it's like the whole deal with the St. Patrick's Day parade thing a few years ago. Just because you're gay shouldn't give you any special right to force your way into someone's else's party. I don't get it. I also can't stand the flamboyantly gay who out others and get in everyone's face. Those people are obnoxious to me. I don't rub your face in my lifestyle, don't do it to me. It's as simple as that. If you want me to respect you, then you better do the same for me. That's one of the reasons that I don't like the stupid, obnoxious remarks I receive from some guys, they aren't respecting me and I won't tolerate that. Fortunately, that's not a problem here.

Sorry for the soapbox again, but that's my mood lately I guess.

You have an audience of like minded adults who seem to enjoy your 'ravings'. I used to work in the area most populated by the homosexual community. With 90% it is was live and let live. And then there the activists, those like most activists needed watching. From my prospective the females were more in your face than the guys, and much more militant.

I chose just this portion of you again, well thought out, post to reply to Jenn. I guess my issuse with "marriage" and same sex couples is founded from what I've grown up with in my faith. I'm not a bible toter, don't get me wrong there and have fallen short on many occasions. I do however believe marriage is for a man and woman only. So from there stems my rub.

As for same sex couples being together, if that is their choice, then as you said I have no problem with it. To ride the same "soap box" with you, "just don't rub it in my face, and we'll be fine." That is of their relationship(s).

Honestly....I don't understand why people have such a big problem two people that love each other and happen to both be either men or women. I don't give you a bunch of crap for doing what you do if it doesn't impact me in any tangible way....why should you give someone else crap for doing what they feel/think is right ?? I'm not homosexual, but I've known plenty of great people who are and I have never had a problem with them. Period. I honestly think that conservatism has gone way overboard a lot of times and people just need to understand that they can't control what someone else thinks and does if they are not their parent/supervisor/spouse/etc. What gives you the right to tell me what I think is right or good ??

I'm halfways to the final... my team is in it. I have to laugh though. Some guys in my pool think I should be eliminated because I didn't use the deductive reasoning they did to get here.

Fortunately... the guy who is running the league feels as I do... Fuck em. You do it your way and I'll do it mine. It may not be scientific, but I'm in the finals no mater what. You can't change the rules now simply because I taunted you

So who can chose em...eh...eh...eh.... oh yeah, everyone laughed...not you guys, but others. Now here we are and my two teams are in the championship game. Say what you want, but results are what matters. Now Memphis wins and I am a rich woman. This pool is worth $3000, no bad for a cute vote.
