but I live maybe an hour and half away or so depending on traffic. You know how it is though... especially here in CA. a simple drive can take hours sometimes.

I have always wanted to make a top down run up the Padific Coast Highway and then on up through the hills of the wine country. Stopping ocasionally to sampe the vino.

Well...

You should stop more than occasionally for a drink of the vino... Goddamn, you're in wine country for Christ's sake, get loaded. Might I recommend Bartholomew Park Winery in Sonama... that's my favorite right now and it's right next to a state park. Get yourself a sandwich, some olives and maybe a bit of Parmesean Regiano downtown around the town square... then along with the wine find yourself a picnic table right outside the Winery... Now that will be magic... and I live around here and think so. The light is perfect, the weather is perfect and with a bottle or two of the wine... life will be perfect.

Jenn, as I read your post, I was thinking, it could only be perfect if I had you along with me in the Vette, on a top down day. Enjoying the scenery and, your knowledge of the wines. When it comes to wines, I am an amatuer.
On another thought, I and all your friends here on lit would like to give a word of many thanks to Rachel for her friendship and all that it means to you.
On another note. Tonight is one of the best nights of the year here in the Louisville area. The Kentucky Derby Festivities opened today with a huge airshow with all types of military aircraft flying up and down the Ohio River. At 9:30 PM there will be the worlds largest fireworks going off over the Ohio River with hundreds of motars firing from one of the bridges and eight barges loaded with motars firing also. It absolutely an awesome display. Last about 45 minutes and takes days to prepare.

If I couldn't get our girl to accompany I would love to have you as my navigator. We would pull up next to Jenno in her Cobra or hotrod Mercedes, crack the throttle, and watch her in the mirror as we pulled away on her. he he, I can just see her hackles at that sentence. lmao. Jenno, my Vette is highly modified. lol. no where near stock. Mag red, read dark metallic red, with a camel top.
The hardest part of the trip would be concentrating on the road with either of you beautiful , sexxie women along with me.

I'm not too sure about a fast vette, but I am very comfortable in my silver ghost... that car just seems to carve corners. I never expected to love the handling on a mercedes. The Cobra is fun, but a real handful... a real handful.
