Just a note let you know that I'm still alive and kicking. I did see that Jr did well in qualifying, but also noticed he didn't have anything for the shootout. I've always liked Danica and will following her progress this year. I guess I have a new series to start watching or at least recording. I hope this year is a better year for Nascar... I found myself getting kind of bored a few times last year and I don't think I'm the only one.
I really don't like what nascar is doing to itself. In some ways it's starting to be more about the marketing than the substance of racing. I've been kind of getting into Rally Car racing... now that's some pretty cool stuff.
I also went to an outdoor motocross national when I was in MA last August. It was a cold rainy day, but man oh man, I loved the action. We went to a track called Southwick and it was pretty crazy. I'd love to go there on a nice day, but I suspect the crowds would be crazy too. The rain kept most of the fair weather fans away and allowed me to actually see the track without sitting on someone's shoulder.

Hey Jenn. I don't know a lick about Nascar or racing but hope it's a better year to follow it. Got a chuckle hearing about having to prop yourself up sometimes for a better view when I remembered your stature. Somewhere there's a guy out there who hasn't washed his shoulders in a long time.
