Do you get the light effects correctly when painting without sunlight?

The Shave...

Ok... now this is where things started to out of hand. He's rubbing the lather on me and the other guy is taking pictures of it. My nipples were so hard here. I could only imagine what was going on with my boyfriend. The webcam was in almost the same spot as the camera in this picture
 
I never paint in sunlight...

It's too fugitive to paint for any period of time. The north light is good though. Generally, I like to paint at night, the lights in my studio are balanced for painting and I can alter them depending on where the painting will hang. The color of the light in setting can have profound affects on the colors, so it's best to paint for a setting if you can.
