Jericho Zero OOC

Okey-dokey....let's move on to fun things then.

I'm like Imp, I'm not here for arguing.

Agreed

I must agree, so good luck with the thread, I might check back sometimes to look at it

Congratulations Adapt - You've made the century!

Looking forward to seeing your avatar sometime too, and I believe this is my one hundred as well.

I think overall, in all things, a cool head prevails. But if you can act angry really really well, it helps.

It's a shame that you can't show a little tolerence to someone. No one is perfect and I find that you are being too judgemental on him.

Not really at all. If I'm offended by something I will most certainly tell people that I'm offended. If somebody does something wrong, they should be told so.

What he did was wrong, so I said so. If I'd said nothing, he'd keep on doing it again and again. It was afterall, my character that he was doing these things to!

lol

LMAO!! I take if everyone hates me, huh? lol, it doesnt matter anywho, thats why I am leaving the boards and stuff, hey, I thought it was for sexual RPing, LMAO! only kidding, I know it is, anywho, good luck all, and congrates to you o on this so called centuary mark...laterz

hates is too strong a word, annoyed at times is more appropiate. And sometimes, very angry.

Leave if you wish, but running away only shows unwillingness to learn. Keep doing it, and the problems never go away, because the errors that caused them continue.

You've probably had the same sort of problems at heaps of places. I don't dislike you, I'm just annoyed. I'm honest about it, because I seek to create a change. If not here, then somewhere else. Eventually, somebody will succeed - it might take an awful long time. But learning consideration for others feelings is an advantage, that outweighs the disadvantages (in my oppinion).

Like I said before, I've never felt the need to take control of somebody else's character. To go as far as writing down the other person's character's feelings, thoughts, or oppinions to me is very much a step too far.

You'd have to know them very well, and have some kind of agreement with each other - but you didn't have such an agreement in any way with Silvergirl - so you went too far, Adapt. You should've at least discussed it with her first, but you didn't do that. Like she said, her character was not your toy.

I wont desagree, hate is a strong word, but annoyed is only the beginning to how harsh hate is, because ultimatly it leads to it, look its not a learning situation, I write fine, fine enought to be complamented by many others, its the way I describe things, all she had to do was contradicte my words in her post, I cant read peoples mind, I dont wish to either, but I am not going to change my style of writing just to absorb into the majority, if this is how you all feel, which it is, then the simple, easy way to do things is to elminate the problem, which is apperently me, everytime I did this on SRP I had no problems with anyone else, except with the restaurant, buts thats because I was explictily controling that NPC and she didnt want to be saved, so that was that, this one, I didnt say she was doing anything, I said an angels touch to mesure how soft his hand was, I meant nothing more, like I said to Lovelynice, Silver in her next post could say that it felt like dog shit was being smeared on her cheeks and thats what she said, I mearely killed the officers, which I thought were NPCs and talked to her, but I never directly, or nondirectly controled her, about the other things, it seemed like hours to him, that gaze could have been the creepo gaze instead of a intense gaze, but I explained it how I thought it would be thru him, and how he looked at it, not the silver, that includes the soft touch, it was felt thru him, he thought only angels could beat his soft skin, its just the way I write, it sounds like its from her, but it isnt, the only thing I did that in anyway controled her was when she looked back up as the door close only to see the metal baton slide to expand from his sleeve, but I thought see would be looking up at him anyways, so that in turn was my mistake and is the only action that I think are deemed for an apolige, everything else, looking from a different point of view, btw, thanks lovely for the comment on the ava, I take it as a complament, glad you like my art, lol

I think you could stand to improve the way you interact with other characters in this type of milleu. That's only my opinion, but I've had my own share of compliments, for what that's worth.

What you wrote was too open to interpretation in the way that Silvergirl interpreted it. Even if she had interpreted it the way you intended, she would have had to have spent half of her next post clarifying and correcting - which is, at best, still an imposition on your part.

I was keeping out of this mess beyond tendering my opinion earlier - but I just thought your "I write fine, it's all you guys who are broken" comment needed a rebuttal. :D

lol Stiner, you need to read that again, I never said you guys are broken, all I said was I writ well enough, I mean, I cant read minds and thats what you people are expecting me to do, sure, no ones perfect, but thats what makes us great, she could have written a new post, and as a matter of fact, it wouldnt have taken all to long to clarify it, a matter of a short couple of sentances hould have cleared it up real quick, then she could have continued the story, so I never did you guys are broken, just that you all might want to look at it from everyones point of view, shoo, I am broken, I freely admit that, but not in the ways of writing, I know I am an ok writing and I do accpet improvements and ccritism, but not something that will totally displace how I write

In other words, you're being stubborn and arrogant.

I've tried to stay out of this, be polite, but I think that the truth is basically that since you're unwilling to change, then you're unwilling to learn. Unfortunately, your argument about it being a limit to your art comes across as very false....

I've heard other artistic types go on with the excuse that being forced to operate within in a limit is like being forced to use crayons...I have to say that being able to use crayons well makes just as good an artist as one who uses pencil, paint, a toothpick, chalk, chisels, hammers, dynamite, oil, welding gear, or any other damn thing you can get your hands on. If you can adjust to circumstances...then that's great, but to say that you would prefer to cause problems and offense for somebody else is just plain selfish.

I think that I have to agree with Veryknowing on this, Adapt...you need to learn.

Also, I agree with Steiner...what you did is an unnecessary imposition on somebody else....Silvergirl would've had to go to a lot of trouble to fix up everything, and it wouldn't have come across as very good at all.

As to the excuse, "I can't read minds", I say...yes, exactly,....so don't try to write down what another writer's character's feelings and oppinions should be according to your requirements.

As Veryknowing said before, you are unrepentant, you don't apologize, and you don't try and really fix things. You did a simple hatchet-job of deletion that showed absolutely no artistic skill at all. You acted like a petulant child when you got caught out, all innocent and avoiding the issue; when Silvergirl complained about your imposition of feelings, oppinions, attitudes, thoughts, onto her character (without any permission from her) you went on about "movement"....which Silvergirl didn't mention or complain about. You never once replied directly to her complaint. You never once apologized.

As Steiner said, if you hadn't been so busy saying how great your character was, you wouldn't have got in so much hassle over it...because then you wouldn't been writing down Silvergirl's character's thoughts, feelings, oppinions, etc...without her agreement to it.

I won't say that you're a bad writer, because I think you write quite well...but you were a particularly selfish participant in a thread that involved other writers, who you behaved without enough respect for. You did not have enough respect for Silvergirl as another writer...and because you argue how YOUR art is all, you show little respect for the art of others which you trampled on...such as Silvergirl's own aims and thoughts on her character, which was her creation, not yours.

If you want respect as a writer, and as a participant in writing in a thread with other writers, then learn to have real respect for other writers...and respect that they may have their own plans for their characters. Particularly those characters thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and oppinions.

By the way, lying about what you wrote is a pretty dumb way of defending yourself.

you know what, your absolutely right, I am a shamed at what I done, and I can admit that, I will say I am sorry, I do admit when I am wrong and I am doing so now, its been a tough week starting a new job and what not, head has been kinda racked and what not, but your totally right, and I was wrong, I commit my apolige to you all and press my deepest sympaties to what I have done and slowed the thread to a near stop, again, I'm sorry, but the one thing I wont apolige is that, I didnt le about the writing, I did change that thing long ago, I did change it so it suited GG when she asked, in fact the same day, I told her when I came back from work I would change it and I did, so everything else I do say I'm sorry, but this one, I am sorry I cant do it because for that one I know I am right, I never lied, I speak the truth on that one

Adapt.
Your reply is just avoidance that doesn't wash. I didn't mention "movement" at all ----- I said "feelings" and "opinions".

In the 1st post; ((his lethal sensual gaze locked with hers, she could almost hear his soul as it ranted of sexuality, and still seemingly hours it felt,)) ---shouldn't that be my decision as to HOW my character FELT???

In the 2nd post; ((his fingers sliding to her cheek, the soothing caress of a warm finger came to trail her chin, such a sensual touch, only a touch from an angel could surpass his own as he leaned in closer… )) ---- SOOTHING or not should be my decision, SENSUAL or not, should be my decision, as to the TOUCH being like that of an angel -- that should be my decision too.

Do what you like with an NPC, but my character is not your toy.

Oh yeah, Adapt?......1) This is what Silvergirl complained about....Doesn't sound at all like you were writing through your own character's POV at all. You were writing through her character's POV. 2) And again, while you're still going on about movement...That's not what she complained about at all! I could resurrect the whole damn posts involved, because I save everything (makes it easier to plan my own character's response to things without having to go back to Lit), but I won't...so I'll let Silvergirl's own specific complaints refute what you just said.

So, no you're not only not right, you're lying. If you believe you are right, I suggest you wake up to yourself....You're just being plain arrogant.

By the way, I'm not angry at all...but I can't help but refute an untrue statement....your attitude's are quite funny to me. Even silly. I've heard the same sort of bald-faced BS many times; it never impressed me before, and it doesn't impress me now. Lol. :D

The whole silly thing really IS amusing. Please, go ahead...dig a bigger hole for yourself....use a bulldozer, you're shovelling enough of it.

If you were smarter, you would've dropped the whole thing a long time ago and not let yourself open to all this criticism....because so far every reply you''ve made, only makes your excuses look more false.

Go ahead, keep digging....Lol :D It is very funny to watch.

Despite what some have said, I doubt this little discussion has slowed down postings on the thread at all.

People have gone on posting, and some have posted more often than previously. Only Silvergirl hasn't posted anything on the main thread since she complained about Adapt "taking prerogatives" with her character.

intresting, I already said you were right about everything, what more do you want? just me saying more stuff? because I already said you were right, all your doing now is bring up other thibngs after the fact, I already stated you were right, its a shame to see someone having to build there ego up just by chewing someone out, in this case me, I hope you ebjoy destroying someone wh has already seen the error of his ways, but I am not going to stop you, post what ever you want, I will reply with the same old, and what hole are you refering to, I already said I was wrong, I just climbed out of my hole, so you can continue to throw nosense and usless things in my face, but its all the same, I knew I was wrong, and thats that, good day

Annnnnnd it looks like this subject is now resolved... What would be nice now is if we could move on with the thread. Silvergirl, I don't want to lose my little sister, so please work out what you want Christina to do, and post again, I think it's safe to say that the issues you had with Adapt have been aired, and that it won't happen again - or if it does, that you'll be 100% in the right if you choose to simply ignore anything done that you don't agree with.

Well, that sounds like a real apology at last, Adapt.

LN was correct; you did keep digging yourself into a bigger hole. But nevermind.

Tyvamat (is that how you spell it?) had asked at one time about making a character for ESI anyway, but alas no more girls. Maybe that's why the other guys are so ready to defend the ones that we do have on the thread.

I guess I'll have to finish the scene with Col Wolfgang Bohr meeting "T" by myself - had left it open, but no takers.

What happens with the superhuman? Does he die in some lost cause? Get shot to pieces by the TRG in Tokyo (cops really come down heavy on cop-killers don't they?), or go on the lam? Or simply disappears as one of life's mysteries (must be a frequent enough event in the espionage game). Perhaps he decides to settle down, having fallen head over heels in love with a femme fatale - get married, have superkiddies, terrorize the local neighbours ("Superhuman in the 'Burbs"). What are his culinary skills like? Does he do his own washing?

I must have been deluded. I thought the polite thing would've been to send a PM to the offended party with an apology at least. Never ever saw one. Not in the many days of Adapt's carrying on with excuses. Too late now.

In any case, I've deleted the most recent posting and replaced it with a "UNDER RECONSTRUCTION" sign. Don't be alarmed - I'm not leaving. Unfortunately, Adapt's crapola means that I have to rewrite the entire bloody thing, and I am not in a good mood about that.

I originally put Christina Rook in Tokyo as a bit of kindness to Adapt, as his superhuman kept chasiing NPCs, but I'll never do that again. To me the feeling was a little like some creepzoid molesting me in a bar. You know the kind; gold-chains and "Aren't I the greatest gift on God's Earth?" sort of weirdo. Well, I am only very very new to this whole thing, but I did read the rules when I first checked out these threads, but I don't think Adapt cares a damn about rules - :( sad, sad, sad.

I do care about the rules and I am sorry I offended you with my writing, I did say I was sorry, did I not? On another hand, I think he found someone that he fell for, he makes a delicious frappe and pancakes, opening a restaurant near the suburbs near neo Tokyo since they were last built called Neo Rem’s International house of Pancakes, combining the best cakes in the world in a single dish, speaking of kids, he does have some, many in fact, quickly finding there lead role in football, becoming stars in there own right, other then that, he has settled and founded a new vineyard, coming back to his old life he left so long ago, making some of the best in the world thru a long lost recipe

It took me awhile to work out my grand plot for the AI, but I finally did it. Had way too much time to think the night before last at one of the venues that I work at (very quiet place, only lots of pokies to guard).

So look out world, the Rogue AI is going to start doing the devious preliminaries from now on.

Thus one major plot generator now truly enters the story of the thread....I'm looking forward to it.

Steiner & I have been slowly cooking up our little plot twists together in PM discussions as well.

To everyone who has missed me, and been waiting for me to come back to the thread....

I'll be posting again on Jericho Zero as soon as I get the chance.

Please be patient, and Im sorry for the inconvenience.

I have been informed by Steiner (by email) that he can't post on Jericho Zero for awhile as he has no PC of his own (at this time).

He'll try to get back when he can, but it could be months :(

I guess, we will have to wait .

Hi everyone.

I'm back and ready to post again, but is anyone else???

Maniac hasn't been around since January, but as he's in the military he's likely very busy at the moment anyway.

Even so, I would like to start playing again.

The Jericho Zero thread was always one of my favourites.
