Jerry Springer..Like the show or despise it?

I think the Jerry Springer show is about as trashy as TV gets...anyone second that?

Jerry Springer represents all Americans... he stands back and watches the mayhem, the innocent bystander.

But I don't think he's innocent at all. He is the one that creates the mood. I'm sure there are people backstage pumping the guests up for fights.

I guess if I had the choice of watching Jerry Springer or Baywatch, I would choose to eat my own eyes out.

I dunno what you guys see over there, but I do know that we get all re runs, and the good re runs too ... the ones where they beat the crap out of each other.

Now I don't watch it for entertainment value, I watch it for the comedy aspect, and lets face it ... it's funny as hell, or at least the episodes we're getting are

Soooooooo on that bases, I actually like it, it gives me my nightly laugh, and we all need to laugh.

Jerry Springer is definitely a show I watch not for the entertainment, but the comedy. That show is fucking funny. I don't usually get to watch it, but if I do, I laugh my ass off.

Ironically, I should come across this thread just as I am watching the show for the 1st time in years. I used to watch his show daily while I was at work. We (my coworkers & I) used to enjoy watching the sick folks on stage getting pissed and fighting. But after the fighting stopped, so did our interest for the show.
I lost interest and began hating it when I would hear the audience shout out insults to the guests on stage. It's more of an act now than a show.
